Will came knocking on our door in early 2024 looking for an apprenticeship. Since then he's gone from strength to strength regardless of his questionable sporting team allegiances. He loves nothing more than a weekend full of sport, a few beers down at Maroubra Seals and the odd ham sandwich or two.

Western style dining room table with X style legs. In either Spotted Gum or Blackbutt.

What Music or Podcast do you listen to while you’re working?
Listen to a fair chunk of country music. Also run Hello Sport and Pardon my Take podcasts
What advice would you give someone just starting out in woodworking?
You’re going to make mistakes and they will teach you what not to do next time. The trick is to not make the same mistake twice.
What do you enjoy most about being part of Common Wood?
The pieces we build are fun to build and are of a high quality. Each piece is different and individual which keeps things fresh. I enjoy the whole building process from raw timber to a finished piece. I enjoy that is a small, laid back team but everyone works hard.
